DFB delegation visits Holocaust

An eight-member delegation of the women s football national team visited the Holocaust Memorial Yad Vashem on Friday. Following a guided tour, Joti Chatziallexiou, Holocaust Memorialy director national teams, and federal trainer Martina Voss-Tecklenburg set a wreath of the Memorial Stone of Janusz Korczak, a pediatrician and director of an orphanage. It s an impressive, very important day. We are grateful that we can be here, said Voss-Tecklenburg then. We must not tolerate anti-Semitism, exclusion, human misconduct simply, we need civil courage. We have to learn permanently. The German delegation also included the players Lena Latteine, Tabea Waßmuth, Laura Benkarth, Laura Fröigang and Martina Tufekovic and Teum Manager Maika Fischer. The entire team always visited significant sites in Jerusalem.
