NBA News: Los Angeles Lakers apparently have interest in Isaiah Thoma

The Los Angeles Lakers evidently think about an obligation of Isaiah Thomas to refill the squad. The 32-year-old had recently caused a stir when he scored 81 points in a pro-AM game in Seattle.

As Marc Stein reports, the Lakers are looking for additional support for the backcourt. Thomas is therefore one of the names on the list of the champion of 2020. That he really ends up with the Lakers, but is not yet a guilty thing.

The two-time all-star is currently running in the Crawsover Pro-am Liga, which is put on the legs every summer of ex-NBA star Jamal Crawford. On Sunday, Thomas exploded for 81 points in a game. "They had already given me," he said then overwhelmed by his emotions.

Maybe he gets a chance in the NBA this summer again. Stone had last reported on a return campaign from the alleged interest of Boston Celtics.
