McDonalds unable to give personalized PS5 controllers
Last week, McDonald's Australia planned to give personalized PS5 controllers to celebrate its 50th anniversary in Australia. Sony, however, thought that it was better to spoil the party and unplug all the operation.
While McDonald's had good intentions, offering the product to streamers and as part of a public competition without really taking advantage, he had apparently also forgotten to obtain Sony's permission to include his product in a program marketing. Not surprisingly, Sony had to intervene and stop the gift as soon as they heard about it.
_ "Unfortunately, McDonald's's broadcast week has been postponed and will not continue this Sunday. We are unable to confirm a new date for the proposed event at the moment. We will have great prices, including the 50th anniversary hoodies of Macca and 50-channel subscriptions for each Streamer to offer. We will be in touch with the new timing as soon as we have confirmed it. _ McDonald's stated in a follow-up statement, "Sony Playstation did not allow the use of his joystick in the promotional material linked to the proposed Stream Week event and we apologize for the inconvenience. McDonald's broadcast week has been postponed and Sony PlayStation controllers will not be included in the gift. »_
We still do not know if the stream will now include other gifts to compensate for disappointment, however, even if it was, it would be very difficult to surpass personalized PS5 controllers.
