Dome Keper will be published on September 27

Raw Fury has announced the launch date of Dome Keeper , the BippinBits management game, will be published on September 27.

At the moment it will be published in Steam, where there is an available demo in case you want to try first hand the game. The thing goes from a space explorer that must explore the entrails of a mysterious planet picing stone, digging tunnels from the dome that he has installed on the surface in search of materials; With the minerals you get back up, improve your defenses and also your offensive tools, with which you face the attacks that occasionally threaten the good future of your mining adventure.

It is a simple and elegant loop that simply works well, as can be seen in that demo that I mentioned before. What remains is a time management game and the resources well camouflaged with a simple mechanics but that puts you thoroughly in the exploration of the tunnels that you are building, and for which you drag (sometimes painfully, others with great ease) Minerals while trying to arrive on time to prevent surface monsters from destroying the dome.

It is one of those demos that you can play much longer than a demo should offer; It happened to myself a couple of months ago, when I covered it within the framework of the Steam Demate Festival. From there I took the conclusion that Dome Keeper

I

It is one of those games in which each run seems only the prologue of a next one, perhaps better or perhaps worse, and that cycle is repeated and repeated and when you realize you have been playing at the demo for a couple of hours. It is a quality that is not always worth noting: isn't all games supposed to be?

All this is born, by the way, from the Ludum Dare 48, where the same team developed in 72 hours a game called Dome Romantik, which over time has been growing and mutating until it becomes what we know today as Dome Keeper.
