Kojima Productions Company Manager Departure from the company

According to The Sources, the director of Kojima Productions, Ken-Ichiro Imaizumi, left the company in the unknown circumstances. When Kojima Productions has been created as an independent studio, many Konami veterans have joined the company, including Imaizumi. During his stay at Konami, Imaizumi worked on all the titles of Metal Gear Solid from Metal Gear Solid: Son's of Liberty of 2001. Although Ken-Ichiro Imaizumi could end with Kojima Productions, he will be known as Death General Manager Stranding.

Although no source confirmed exactly why Ken-Ichiro Imaizumi had left Kojima Productions, one of them would have apparently claimed that it was due to a disagreement with another studio director. Imaizumi spent nearly twenty years alongside Konami before taking the boat with other Konami veterans to create the studio behind Death Stranding, Kojima Productions. Other titles to which Imizumi contributed, are Guns of the Patriots, The Phantom Bread and Metal Gear Rising. Although Death Stranding has received the mixed odds, we have judged the magical art direction and the exceptional actor game. Check out our review here!

Although Kojima Productions and Ken-Ichiro Imaizumi have not yet responded to requests for comment on this story, it is not the first time that The Internal Disorders brought a senior executive to leave his position with a company. The work of Imaizumi with Death Stranding involved supervising all the production of the title, which means that any drama was probably not related to the game. Apparently, Ken-Ichiro Imaizumi was absent from the Death Stranding World Tour, a promotional event celebrating The launch of the first title of the studio. This would imply that the company was already aware of any problem with Imaizumi before the event.

Are you a fan of Death Stranding who wants Kojima Productions to be as intact and healthy as possible, or do internal conflicts do not bother you? What did you think of the first game of the studio? Let us know in the comments below!
