Outer Wilds: The only one and only DLC Echoes of the Eye will arrive next month

Fuiterated in April on the Steam platform database left little doubt about it: the incredible space adventure Outer Wilds will soon be extended by a single DLC: Echoes of the Eye , a name that had been almost given by the developers of Mobius Digital.

It is (obviously) on a banjo air that the players have thus been able to find the singular solar system of the game of 2019, and found that once again explore the depths of the few pebbles placed in orbit, the Extension having visibly requested a lot of reflections in view of the particular structure of the original:

Internally, we first thought of somewhat conventional ideas for the Outer Wilds DLC. In the end, we understood that we could not just add an extension to the existing game without giving players something new and therefore to explore while adding elements that would benefit the story of the game. If Echoes of The Eye does not have the same scale as the original game, this new place has more depth than any other place in the solar system.

The creation of Outer Wilds content is a complex and comprehensive process and our DLC quickly became a full extension. Since this DLC was needed to work for new players as for veterans, the structure of Echoes of the Eye pushed us to design a kind of mirror microcosm with the original game. That being said, do not expect what Echoes of the Eye is only a miniature version of the original game. We have taken risks with our narrative approaches and added many new mechanics.

This is sure that the curiosity of the Apprentices-thenuts who have already had the chance to pierce the many mystery of the noun civilization ... take-off scheduled on September 28 on Mac, PC, PS4 and Xbox One. But not on Switch : The promised portage for the summer is now expected for the end of the year ...
